Sunny Side Up was created to give the Sunshine Coast something bigger than a one-off event — a platform.We’re based on the Sunshine Coast, and after years of running shows across Australia, we made the call to build something special at home. Not just another festival. Not just another lineup drop. A brand with depth. A long-term play.

Sunny Side Up is powered by the team at Mudcrab Music & Events — an independent Australian promoter and production company delivering events nationwide. Our team has produced and promoted major shows across the country featuring artists such as Snoop Dogg, The Jungle Giants, PNAU, CYRIL, The Wiggles and more. From large-scale outdoor festivals to sold-out club runs and regional tours, we handle everything in-house — booking, routing, marketing, production, logistics and on-ground execution. We understand scale and We understand regional markets.

Sunny Side Up started on the Sunshine Coast — because that’s home. But it was never designed to stay in one postcode.The vision is clear: expand across South East Queensland and beyond. Brisbane. Gold Coast. Gympie. Regional hubs that are hungry for properly produced, nationally relevant music experiences.
